Lincoln, ME
FLAGSHIP PROJECT
Lincoln, ME – PROJECT DETAILS

Lincoln is a beautiful and charming town in eastern Maine that was built around a papermill that at its peak employed over 500 locals. The declining demand for paper, combined with the increased availability of imported paper products, among other factors, drove the mill site to become abandoned and is now owned by the Lincoln local government. The government is taking this opportunity to diversify the industry in Lincoln by bringing tech and innovative companies to the area.

The Lincoln mill site has a large natural gas pipeline that runs through, making it the ideal location for a flagship project for AGE. AGE will use the natural gas to power fuel cells, which will feed into a farm of portable data centers. These data centers will mine cryptocurrency and produce revenue. Because of the size of the plane, AGE will be able to continually expand this size until we either run out of fuel capacity or physical space, both of which should last until approximately 20x the size of our initial project plan.

The town and community, as well as the state government, have been extremely supportive of the AGE mission and we are glad to have them as a partner in our first site.
